    Rate Your Season

Let's start with 10, since we're optimistic. Add (1) for staying relatively healthy all season. Subtract (1) for not skiing as short line as you did the season prior. Add (1) for family time (Dad is Driver, Mom Observer in late 70's). Hell, I'm giving that one an extra (1/2) spending precious time with them every 4/5 days. Add (1) for teaching somebody the sport. Add (1) for supporting 2 events for Adaptive Water Sports. Subtract (1) for skiing less than perfect conditions a lot this summer. Subtract (1) for getting in and out to fast and not enjoying the lake enough. Add (1) for a private lake. Subtract (1) for skiing less than the 40 times I had as a goal. Add (1) for getting a new "weapon" (HO V-TYPE). Subtract (1) for an early end to the season that is happening soon this year.

Looks as if I get a 10 1/2 score. Not bad. Life is what you make of it. Looking forward to meeting my parents dock side at 9:30 tomorrow, burr.

Ski hard my friends, and let hear your score for 2015.

I will go with 9.5 for me. I got my youngest son up on the surfboard and now he loves it. I only had to take out the tube 3 times this year. I taught 5 people to get up on the surfboard that had never tried it before and 1 person up on the wakeboard. I finally cleared the wake on my wakeboard out into the flat and can almost clear it at will now. I am knocking off a 1/2 point for having to replace my fuel pump and perfect pass within 2 weeks of each other.

I'd go with a solid 16. From the end of May onward we skied almost everyday (gotta love a dry suit and living on the lake). My skiing improved about 500%. Got to try about 5 different skis my buddies had. Have a pretty good feeling Santa wifey is bringing a new Senate this Xmas. Taught about 4 of my daughters friends to ski or wakeboard over the course of the summer. And lastly my daughter gladly bought into the "everyone tries to ski or wakeboard before the tubes come out" rule. There were even week long stretches where the tubes never touched the water.

I would go with a one since mine was cut short at the beginning with torn hamstring surgery!

18.2 First season with a tow boat and really don't have anything to base it off of. First time every wakeboarding and went from looking like a new born baby dear being drug behind a boat to a decent rider. Water traffic is finally slowing down and time to get slalom a try as well. Still have a few months left to go.

7.5, but the season is not over so the score could go up with a long line attempt, depending on the back...

Need to add points for hanging with like minded awesome MasterCraft families more than once this year. That would bring me up a point or two.
If its not a competition ski boat, its always second best.

-5 for using the same photos in 3 or more post!!!

My season is a solid 6 for sure.

$2500 bucks in under water gear on the first outing in spring.
Tore my back up at least 4 times this summer
Did not ski all that much let alone surf that much
Trans in the tow vehicle burned up twice this year

On the plus side, spent many hours with my girls at the lake, made some new friends. In the end it comes out like this.

As the weather starts to cool and the end of boating season nears I get a little depressed and sad. But, then I remember I have a hot tub and I'm happy the weather starts to cool and the end of boating season is near!

Still a great summer spent with friends and family.

Anyone selling a pontoon with double 300s on it? lol
