The plate is 10mm, thats about 3/8 of an inch!
Im installing a hydraulic helm pump for my hydraulik steering so it had to be solid enough.

Did they charge a lot extra to have Mastercraft etched into the metal like that? I think this is how I'm going to redo my dash panels, and I really like the custom Mastercraft cut in the metal.

                        If one day you're asked:
" How did you spend your time here on Earth?"
                        Will you say:
"I kept a crabgrass free lawn"
                        It's time to SKI.

To help with the glare you can get it anodized, it will also keep the oxidation off of it.
Maybe you can check with a local anodizing shop they can anodize in most any color now. Price to have it done by itself would be very $$, but maybe they can run it with one of there commercial customers.
I get some sumilar sized parts anodized from time to time and I believe the price works out to about $25 per piece when I get about 20 or so done at the same time.

I have a 1987 prostar 190 and have had it redone but my dash, oh my poor dash. I surely would be very interested in seeing some more pictures after it is installed. I would also, if possible buy one from you. This dash is driving me crazy i have been looking everywhere for a replacement..Please let me know...

I will post more pics as soon as I get the instruments in, and the dash fitted. A thing I can do to help you, is to send you the CAD drawings. Then you can go to a lokal milling shop and ask what they would carge to make it.
