Mine does also; it hasn't been cared for well in it's life. I worry that some day I'm going to step down onto it and break it. I don't know that there's a solution other than doing some woodworking and rebuilding or reinforcing it.
My 94 platform was the same. I sent to Teak world to get a slat fixed and refurbed and they told me that the wood was just to thin to refurb again and they suggested I get a replacement. Sanding removes thickness. So I got a used one off a newer boat from them and no flexing now.
If its not a competition ski boat, its always second best.

boat had not been stored in water on a lift or trailered. might just keep an eye out for one, I found a local guy that has some soild platforms of the ps 197 but they are too narrow would love for one of those to work.
