So, somebody smart - what if you took the rear center motor box covers on all our older 205v's, x1's, xstars (most popular hull ever made) - and made a fiberglass boarding piece to replace the existing vinyl and foam. Then, it would be similar to the newer boats in that when you needed to board from the rear, you walk across a fiberglass (nice molded traction, you could add SeaDeck, whatever) instead of the foam. If done right, you could mold the sides so it drained back towards the rear). Again, just the center rear - keep the foam/vinyl on the sides.
