Wondering Aloud - rear fiberglass boarding

So, somebody smart - what if you took the rear center motor box covers on all our older 205v's, x1's, xstars (most popular hull ever made) - and made a fiberglass boarding piece to replace the existing vinyl and foam. Then, it would be similar to the newer boats in that when you needed to board from the rear, you walk across a fiberglass (nice molded traction, you could add SeaDeck, whatever) instead of the foam. If done right, you could mold the sides so it drained back towards the rear). Again, just the center rear - keep the foam/vinyl on the sides.

I would think this would order out pretty well. I'd be in.

Jim at Viper is doing a walkthru on mine. Basically the center sunpad will get divided into 3 parts, the center being the walkthru. Then he is going to put sea-dek on that walkthru area. It will also have a cushion to fit over the walkthru when we want to use the whole sun deck.
