  • 2006 X-1 Tower Nav Light?

I have a 2006 X-1 with factory tower (manufacturer?), and the navigation light that sits on top of the tower has broken.

Specifically the plastic housing that holds the navigation bulb in place.

Any suggestions on the best place to find a replacement.

    Mastercraft? or the tower manufacturer?

    Thanks!

I have an '04 X2 with Zeroflex tower. I just swung by the local MC dealer last week and picked one up. not sure if it takes the same as yours?

Just contacted Zero Flex, who manufactured the towers in 04, but not in 06.

They mentioned a company called "Gere Marie" that was the OEM in 2006.

I'll update once I've talked to them.

I just put one of these on to replace my incandescent tower light. On my New Dimension tower. Was the exact same bolt pattern.

I have a 99' Sportstar, with a new dimension tower. The tower light that came from new dimension was an attwood wakeboard tower light, i replaced it with the led version. 2 Nautical Mile range. Looks super clean, and I put the attwood 2 NM front green/red bow light on as well. I'll take some photos this evening.

                    Found it @ www.wakeboards.com, same folks @ waterskis.com.

                    http://www.wakeboards.com/MasterCraf...ight_02-07.htm

                    $30 buck including shipping.

Doesn't look as nice as the LED's.

                    Thanks for everyone's help!

                      Calsonwa,

How did you get the tower light off, and how did you rewire the new light in? I would like to make the same change, but I can't get the light off. The socket that holds the bulb seems to be connected to a wire coming from the tower, and I can't get the socket out. I can't get the plastic piece that holds the socket out without ripping out these wires, it seems. And I can't get to the wires to loosen or cut them because there's a plastic piece protecting them. I've figured out how to remove everything else on the tower:

                      Any ideas?

I had some slack in the 2 wires going to the navigation light. Enough to be able to pull it out and re-wire the new light.

Can you try to feed some up from where the wires meet the hull? To give yourself some slack.
