  • Swing Away Recommendation Needed

Can anyone give me a recommendation on where to purchase a swing away tongue for my fixed tongue 1999 single axel trailer. I have seen others using Pivit Hitch, but they appear to be out of business.
    Thanks Mark

This is what I bought a couple of years ago, then had a local welder cut and weld it in for about $100:

      About $200 all in...

Thanks for the information, I saw the information in your post on California Trailers. I will give them a call.

Thanks Lumbergh, looks like that may be an option. Did they have to weld additional tube on either side of the coupler? Does your trailer have surge brakes?

No brakes, no extra tubes. The welder just slid the wiring through the coupler.

            Hope this helps.
