  • Indian Larry died today

If any of you watch the chopper build offs or the Jesse James big rides you know who I am talking about.. Not a real fan of his bikes or tatoo's, I did appeciate his ability to create projects out of pieces of tubing and metal...

He apparently crashed at a show doing his bike surfing ( standing on the seat of his bike at speed) stunt.. Bike started to wobble and he lost control and crashed....

This is sad. Also probably not someone I would have spent a lot of time with but as others have said, you have to respect his ability to make something out of nothing. I saw that stunt on TV as well... somewhat impressive but the kind of thing I won't want my kids watching (or doing)!

                    Indian Larry

I had the pleasure of meeting Indian Larry at Sturgis S.D. about 10 days before his tragic demise. He was truly one of the great bike builders of all time and a very nice guy. He would take the time to talk to anyone who wanted to talk, even though he was a busy man. The chopper word lost a great pioneer on this day a year ago. Ride on Larry!
