This is our first year with the X23 and the closed cooled 6000 GDI Engine. I have already filled the tank and added fuel stabilizer and changed the oil. I have a few questions that I'm not real sure about.
1. My boat has a engine flush on the back. Can i just fill a bucket with RV antifreeze, connect a hose to the engine flush and suck the RV from the bucket with the engine running? The manual says the glycol must be pressurized? Does that mean i can't use this method?
2. My boat has a heater. Since the 6000 GDI is closed-cooled, does that mean antifreeze runs through the heater core or would it be water? I didn't want to mess with the hoses if they are full of green engine antifreeze. If water runs through the lines and heater core, I'll be sure to drain them.
Thanks in advance for reading this and hopefully someone has experience with this engine.
