Loose Connections

Took the boat out yesterday the first time this summer (really late this year). Anyways fired right up and idled great. Water was a little choppy and when I would get on plain the engine would start surging, rpms falling and returning with every bump. In smooth water no issues , went back to the choppy water and the boat shut off and had no electrical power to anything.

Found the ignition was loose and was vibrating which caused one of the screws holding the main power wires had fallen out. Put it all back together , tightend everything down and all was great.

Just a reminder, boats magically break and loosen things over the winter, make sure to check all connections.

Hope all is well for everyone and enjoy your boating season !
