Knock Sensor 1995 Maristar 200 VRS

My knock sensor was removed for winterization last winter. I am thinking as long as it is out might as well replace. I am assuming that any auto parts store will carry the correct part. Is that correct? I also assume that if I go in and ask for a 1995 Chevy 1500 350 ci engine part that I will get the correct part. Is that correct? The reason for all of the questions is that I saw that there were 2 different part numbers for this. One for auto trans and a different for a manual. Are they the same?

Thx for any help!

Had the same thought last year. Purchased a knock sensor for my 350 MCX from NAPA and installed this spring. At 3400RPM my engine light would go on. Would stop turn engine off, restart and the engine light would come on again at 3400RPM. Alarm did not sound and engine did not go into limp mode. Ordered a replacement from SKIDIM and that solved the problem. Maybe the NAPA knock sensor was defective but in comparing the Knock sensors physical appearance and construction the KNOCK sensor from SKIDIM was notably higher quality. They indicated that they purchased there inventory from PCM.
