Got a replacement firebox from BGE under warranty today (17 years old) just in time for tomorrow's turkey.

Nice John. The Chinaman who sold the Grill Dome’s to Jeff Randol tends to not speak English. All he can say is 90 day whoantty. Hey Jeff Randol :finger:

No way Ric's GD is still standing. He needs to send me that cart.....Randol is a name from the past. How long did that GD last? 2 years? I remember telling my ex BIL of the GD "deal". He wanted a BGE after seeing mine. He was like "nope, I want a BGE, not a knock off". Boy was he right..

He was right but $500 versus $1800 was the issue. It lasted about 4 years. It was just cheap, sand based refractory.

Happy Thanksgiving 210 and Sparky, as for the rest of you Master-crafters I extend the same sentiments.

Is it true Hunter Biden now owns a controlling interest in Mastercraft

Yes, for a short while I 'regretted' not getting that Grilldome deal. I'd have bought one too if i didn't already have the Egg.
