Getting pictures from a friend in Orange Beach. Lots of damage, sure y'all are seeing on TV now. Caribe marina heavy damage, Phoenix on the Bay marina and boats that were moved or sunk; just catastrophic. I'll try to upload the pics when I get on the bridge - Im at work. Our condo should be fine - hurricane shutters and on the 7th floor. The little GMC we keep there, probably toast from the surge. I'll go over next week if I can get in and if power is back on. Buddy sending pics, his family had their 72 Viking moored at Saunders Boat Works, which is off the IC, it is ok but some boats knocked off storage at Saunders.

So far no news of loss of life so that is good news unless I've missed it.

I saw a photo from Orange Beach of a massive yacht half sunk on its side. The photos from down there are nuts and looks like there's another one brewing in the Gulf now

Flood waters are receding, dock is trashed. Lift may be ok. House and family are great. Generator power for now.

Phoenix on the Bay Marina picture and then the charter boat that was on the weather channel that was previously moored at Zeke's Marina and ended up next to the road that leads to the beach from Canal Road (like from Doc's Seafood to Publix)

I helped my father take his 38ft Center Console to Barber Brothers. All the storage boats are fine but any dock that was on the bay is gone.

My wife and I ate at the Pleasure Island Tiki Bar (at Sportsman Marina) two weeks ago. Very sad pics I am getting from friends down there.
