    Man's Best Friend Thread

Here is a thread to post our four legged friend pics. I'll start with our rescue (right off the highway) "Keeper". Because of a traumatic childhood before we rescued her she has developed a bit of a drinking problem. We really have to watch our drinks around her.

she's a lot cooler than I thought a poodle would be.

We've always had 3 golden retrievers at a time for at least the last 20 years. They have uniformly been great dogs.

Mostly they've all lived healthy to 13-14 years old, but we did have Sassy, who died at 9 from a tumor of the spleen.

Here is my beagle. He is a bluetickbeagle. Great dog. Little dog, big heart. His name is Gunner.

The Basset Hound is Sam. By no means is size a measure of energy. He does good to wake up to eat.
