As far as I know, no. If it is, I’m going to lose my ****. According to dealer, it’s about 2-3 days of solid work.

If the factory is doing the repair you should be good. If the local dealer is doing the repair I would flip that boat before the warranty is up. Hope it all works out in a timely manor for you. Weather is getting so nice now.

Any Idea what an out of warranty repair for this would cost at texas MC? My buddy has cracked tanks in his x2

Weather is in fact getting nice. It was 85 on Sunday when we were out. I’ve also got a temp fix on the tank that I’m hoping will work decently until TXMC has free techs to pull apart my boat.

Also, not too worried about them handling it. They have done this quite a bit already and are likely the most experienced dealer to do this outside of MC.

Why not wait till the end of the season to get it fixed. Even if it leaks a bit your bilge pump would take care of it. You would not believe how much water my rig takes on through the rear vent holes in the back when my boat is slammed and im surfing. bilge pump kicks on just about every time in between a fallen rider. I would be more worried about the dealer taking longer and being boatless all summer.

Not sure I will be. Depends where Uncle Sam sends me. We strictly surf now though, so something more surf focused.
