Had a great day on the lake tubing...until the boat caught fire...dampened it a bit..

Seriously though gang, you already know but have a fire extinguisher on board! Scared the crap out of me. No idea the cause but the flames were right above the gas tank. Guessing fuel line issue.

Got lucky I think. And yes, we have Chubb, which is awesome. Looks like engine is probably fine and I wish the seats were more damaged but guessing it’ll wipe off. I need new seats! Or a new boat...thanks all.

I’d like a MCX for my 86 Chevy pickup! If you were closer.

Honestly tell the ins co where to pick it up and to hurry with the check. And start boat shopping!

It’s 50/50 if they fix this or total it. Fire damage can be fun to fix and diagnose where it came from.
