Coolant question

We are on a weekend trip, 120 miles from home and Had some problems on the water this morning. Had a line break off a circ pump and pretty much dumped my coolant reservoir. I have everything back in order but for the life of me I cannot find propylene green antifreeze within a 90 mile radius of where I am at. (Dealer says to only use green) I got my hands on 1 gallon which is not enough. My thoughts are to use distilled water so the weekend isnít a loss and when I get back home Iíll flush the system and put the propylene back in. What do you guys think.

any Propylene Glycol/Water 50/50 Mix coolant is fine per the engine manual. Any "high performance" coolant should be fine after you flush the previous coolant out as to not accidentally mix organic and non-organic coolants and create a gel my mistake.

Watch out not to buy dexcool - that was a GM only thing and cannot be blended.

Anything that says "all vehicle" will be safe - as are pretty much any store brand generic antifreezes - pay attention to if they are premixed 50/50 or full strength. I only buy full strength because generally its only a buck or 2 more per gallon despite making twice as much coolant.

And if you cannot find that in a pressurized system even plain distilled water will not boil till ~240F - so as long as you fix the leak so the system gets pressurized you should be good to go with whatever residual coolant you have plus 1 gallon and residual water - but more to dump and flush for winter protection where you'll need the higher AF ratio.
