Best paint for floor?

I asked this in another thread, but the question got buried in the discussion.

I am planning to install Gatorstep flooring in my 2004 X-10 and would like to paint the fiberglass and metal floor panels so that the gaps between the Gatorstep pieces look nice. I'm thinking a basic black paint.

What brand of paint would work best for this? Do I need two different paints (one for the fiberglass and one for the metal floor panels?)

The large old school rust oleum rattle cans are my go to. With good prep, they handle metal or fiberglass.
