I don't think I've seen an SQ8 in person, but it looks like a huge SUV if that's an X-Star behind it.

They're all over the place here. Next time I see one I'll grab a picture next to another car for reference. It's basically a sporty version of the Audi Q7

It's slightly smaller than the modern Ford Explorer. Basically about average for a modern crossover 3-row SUV, though it only has two rows, and much smaller than the Tahoe and Expedition. The Mercedes GLS, BMW X7, Dodge Durango, and Jeep Grand Cherokee L are the largest of the unibody SUVs, which are comparable in size to the previous gen Tahoe.

Acura MDX for XT 21

My 2008 MDX is rated to tow 5000lbs. I only need to tow (0.3 miles) twice a year. I will be towing an XT21 0.3 miles once in fall and once in spring. The ramp is very gradual and cement. There is only a very small incline to my driveway. The road is a private neighborhood road, so going 5-10 mph is no problem for the short distance. I do have a class 3 hitch.

The car pulled my 2009 X2 without difficulty twice a year.

I do understand, I can never tow long distance without destroying this car or others, so that will never be done with this boat.

Any thoughts are appreciated.

I think you should be fine if it's only twice a year with those short distances.

You'll be fine. Worst case you could borrow a truck the two times a year

XT21 with a tandem trailer will be about 6200 pounds. Should be fine. coming out of the water may be another story.

Shallow ramp and AWD should get it up no problem

So I picked up my 197 from the fiberglass guy and I knew I had some reverse issues with my new jeep. Texas Mastercraft did a great job of helping figure out my problem which looks to be my new to me 2017 Grand Cherokee. For some reason the back up assistance won't allow me to back up. I turn it off and it comes back on when I start to back up. I had it "flashed" at a dealership(seems like a scam) but it still won't back up...any help?
