That's a great idea, nice work! Mine doesn't have any issues, but I hate how it isn't flat when I step on it do the the plastic insert under the foam. Please post finished pics when you get it done.

The good this week is powder coat came out looking incredible. Houston Powder Coat did my hatch and air vent cover for only 195 bucks. Highly recommended them. Gatorstep installed now Iím going to make a custom heat shield for inside out of 1/2Ē foam sandwiched between a piece of 24 Guage aluminum. This hatch is to pretty to stick cheep dynamite on the inside.

Now the bad is no boating this weekend. I got Poison ivy this week working on the fence behind my shop. 3 sleepless nights and a dozen or so YouTube videos on how to cure poison ivy. Best cure I found was straight bleach on the sores. Cured the itch but skin looks like I have flesh eating bacteria

Dawn dish soap with the red scotch brite will clear up poison ivy well too.

Will have to remember that. Last time I had poison ivy was 1990 my senior year in high school hiding from the cops in the woods when our keg party got busted. Me and my buddies all had the worst case of poison ivy that following Monday but atleast we evaded MIP tickets that everyone else got that night who did not run lol
