Hey all, and especially you internet guru's. Many of you know, but some don't, that you can subscribe to a thread on here by doing a Advance Reply and choosing the pull down to get an e-mail once a day or immediately if someone replies. Over the many years of being on this forum I have several subscriptions which provides a way to not miss a post. This is NOT a tapatalk generated e-mail.
Ever since December I have been aware that I have not been getting any of these e-mails. Have you?
I did some research through my ISP and after they looked, they are telling me they are being blocked by DMARC based on the way they are being sent out. Here is what they said:
The block is happening based on a system called DMARC which is an acronym for Domain-based Message Authentication, Reporting and Conformance. More details of it is listed here on this Wikipedia link that I was provided https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DMARC#...ls%20alignment
Long story short is that how the emails are being delivered to your email the DMARC system is considering them spam or spoof emails so they are not even getting to your email because of that. The sender of that email or sending domain of the emails that are being delivered to you needs to implement a fix and then they will start being delivered to you like they were before
From my little experience it is never just limited to one side, but if this is a problem with most of you, is there a way an admin can pass this on??
