Beautiful boat. Somewhere I have a pic of my XT22 tied up next to the 1931 Chris Craft that is operated out of Mills Falls in NH on Winnipesaukee. I need to dig that out.

I'm not that smart about engines, but it looks like a flathead I6 engine. Of course it says "Chrysler" on it. Anyone know what specific engine this is? Would it be original from 1936, or a re-power?

Love this boat but I hope that she actually gets into the water the odd time, even if just once every few years...

It is a Chrysler flathead six. I believe it is a factory piece. If not it is period correct and produced somewhere between 60 & 90 hp.

This video is kind of cool showing an old boat, that appears to be a Chris-Craft similar to this one on a local lake back in the 1930's.

The video is much longer, but I have marked it at the boat piece. This was a wealthy family that lived here and had much to do with the history of the town. The town center fountain is named after them. Culbertson fountain.
