Best adhesive for re-applying this light cover

Was wiping boat down and this light molding cover was ready to come off. Wondering what is the best adhesive to re-apply. This goes over navigation light on x-25. Thoughts? Thank s in advance!

3m 4200 or loctite equivalent.. 4300 will stick to gel and metals.

How are they originally affixed. Mine havenít fallen off so idk.
I doubt they were glued on with epoxy. Donít they clip or doubles side tape or something that doesnít come in a toothpaste tube?
