The Global edition IS/ WAS an NXT model. Same hull as the original NXT 22 with an outboard configuration. It was not at all similar to the X14/ 214 other than the approximate length. The idea was that the outboard was well suited to salt water use.

I don't know how that works. When I bought new boats they came with MSO's and the title came through the state. Do the banks/ floorplan companies take the MSO's?...

Agreed, the others are not desirable boats. (and I had a tristar, I appreciate what they are)...

I don't have any first hand experience, but from all I've read, the X25 boarding wake rivals that of the same period X-Star, but the surf wake is lacking a bit. Maybe that changes with the add-ons. (Maybe I'm wrong, just read a lot about the X25 over the years.)

Not following what you mean by "after 95 fell off compared to other brands, then gets worse until 2014"
They redesigned the 205 hull for '96, and the slalom wake suffered but the boarding wake became legendary for the time. And the 205 didn't make it to 2014 as far as I remember...

Anyone remember 2007 - 2009 in the towboat world?? This makes some of those actions and approaches look benign, without recounting details. I read that Tommy's has been a 'bu dealer for 12 years....just when things started to upswing. (I have zero experience and have never heard of "Tommy's"....

A 205 would be way better than any of the boats in OP, IMO. I don't think EFI came out until '93 although the LT-1 in '92 was EFI. (this is all off the top of my head on a Friday, so again, I may need to be corrected.)...

Of just those 3, I'd go look close at the Centurion. Also, Nautiques had wood stringers into the '90's. Not sure when, exactly, they went all glass. At least that is from memory. Someone will correct me if I'm wrong....I'm assuming you are looking at a Tristar 190. That is a small boat, the swim...
