Amazing watching two of my favorite MCs get swapped like this. Good luck!

Wise A$$, but I guess that is pretty funny - not a swingers add just trying to find Dave

well just talked to Dave, seems he had someone call last month and is coming to look at the boat Friday, bringing a check and doing a test drive. So my selling is on hold till Friday...damn! But, he giving first dibs to the first person and that's the right thing to do.

Never underestimate that willingness of your local credit union to float you a personal, no collateral loan at a fairly reasonable rate to get a deal done. I bought my current boat with one of those and sold my MC 14 days later. I think it cost me $40 in interest. Not terrible for the convenience of it all in doing the boat shuffle. And I wasn't even in prime buying season. That boat of yours will sell lickity-split.

Of course, this wasn't my original plan. But I let it slip that I was basically trading across for a boat and would be paying off the loan within a month and they suggested it to speed things up. It was worth the $40 to not sit around waiting on the paperwork.

This is what I say do. Bret, if you really want that boat, send him a deposit. We're only half way through may, yours will sell. But going by what you said, I'm guessing the other guy contacted him first. If not, I say go for it!

That wasn't offered as an option but I understand. One of my "buyers" just found a 205 with less than 100 hrs and LT1 for $12000, 1993 model.

I love your boat Bret. Lots of tastefully done details and fixes. Did you change those engine cover hinges? Those look a little more "Ski Nautique" in style. I prefer yours to the originals. Have you ever caught a toe on one?

I hope things work out with the flip/sale.
