  • 2004 Mastercraft X Star 8.1L!

    FOR SALE: 2004 Mastercraft X-Star

I am the second owner, I bought it July, 2015 from a good buddy of mine with 118 original hours on the boat. They ordered the boat brand new, and kept it stored covered and indoors.

    Price- $38,000

    Freshwater only boat

    Current hours: 149 hours

When I got the boat, I changed out the Raw water water pump impeller, all the ballast impellers, changed all fluids and filters.

Interior lights, and tower light all upgraded to LED's.

Custom covers made for the teak swim step and tower speakers.

I have brand new snap in carpet to go with the boat (not shown).

Came loaded with all of the options for 04'

    Bimini Top
Boat Cover - 20 ft. thru 25 ft.
    Depth Sounder
    Boot slick w/pump
    Batteries - Dual w/Switch
    Docking Lights
    Flooring - Snap In/Out Carpet
    Fresh Water Cooling System
    Fuel Injection
    Propeller / Stainless Steel (4-Blade)
    Swim Step - Teak
    Swim Step w/Fold Down Ladder
    Perfect Pass- Cruise Control
    Wake-Board Racks
    Wake-Board Tower
    Wake-Board Tower Lights
Wake-Board Tower Speakers (6 Diamond tower speakers)
    Factory Ballast System

    2004 M/C Tandem Trailer
    Trailer Options:

    New Fulton 2 speed winch
Custom Wheels (brand new tires and wheels) thanks Peter!
    Detachable Tongue
    Disc Brakes - Per Axle
    Fenders - Fiberglass
    Spare Tire and Carrier
    Surge Brakes

    Stereo-
This thing is LOUD- Stereo sounds really great, especially for an older system. Lots of bass if you want it, with 2 subwoofers.

When the original owner got the boat, they put about an additional 5k into the stereo system. Has 6 Diamond tower speakers, 2 kicker amps for the tower/Interior speakers, and an amp for the Kicker Subs (2). Polk Momo's interior (6)

Note- One of the single tower speakers is not working, may need to be replaced.

I also added the JL bluetooth to the headset so you can use your phone to play wirelessly.

Has front and rear stereo controls.

This boat has been VERY well maintained.

    Condition-

Exterior- Overall its in excellent condition, it has some minor scuffs on the graphics (see pic), and light scratches from normal use. light oxidation on the transom that buffs out easily when I wax it. It has never been beached, or used in saltwater.

    Interior-
Its all original interior, and does have a couple very small (<1") tears in vinyl, one is the seam in the port side bow seat, the other is not visible below the observers chair. I would give the interior an 8+/10

    Mechanically-

The boat received all of the routine maintenance from the dealer it was purchased through.
Like mentioned above, I have changed all the fluids, filters and impellers since I have owned.

Starts and runs like a top, (sounds incredible).

    Transmission shifts flawlessly

I did replace a coolant temp sensor this season because it was intermittently setting off an alarm.

I would give the mechanical condition a 9+/10.

Boat is located in Oceanside, California. I am willing to help with delivery within a few hundred miles- can be negotiated.

Boat will come with lifejackets, buoys, ropes, toys, ect. (couple grand worth of goodies)

All the required "safety stuff" is current and up to date.

    For questions, or additional info-

That's a pretty boat at a pretty good price. Maybe even a little too low. It will make someone very happy!

Thanks guys, it will definitely make someone happy! I hate the fact that I'm selling- just need to move on to something smaller that I can store at my house.

MasterCraft provided SS propellers (14" x 18") with all boats with the L-18 (8.1L). I have a 2002 X-30 with the L-18 and it came with a SS prop. I have since changed it out to NiBrAl prop but those were standard issue with the L-18.
2002, X30, L-18, Red Metal Flake (the possessed boat)
