2008 X-14 DD for Sale $39,500 Lake Chesdin, VA near Petersburg/Richmond

I am working with the dealer on a trade, but trying to sell the boat before my new one gets built in about 8 weeks. It has 676 hours. All fresh water use. Oil change every 50 hours. I would rate the boat an 8 based on dealer comments, etc., but it is not mint. I replaced the bimini and put in decadence flooring last year. I’d say the trailer is about a 9. I am located on Lake Chesdin in Sutherland, VA near Petersburg.

I purchased the boat from the MC dealer in Chesapeake, VA in 2009 after the original owner had traded it in with 10 hours on it. It has the following options:

    MCX, 1.26:1
Black under the tower MC cover
    Navy blue bimini
Zero flex tower with clamping board racks
    Heater
    2 Tower speakers with lights
    Tower mirror attachment-Extreme
    Fiberglass platform-Canadian blue metal flake
    Bow and stern pull-up cleats
Upgraded audio with amp and subwoofer
Canadian blue metal and silver metal flake exterior
    Factory installed ballast
Blue tandem trailer with fiberglass fenders
    Perfect Pass Wakeboard Pro

Good Luck with the sale, great color. That blue has the best pop of all the blues. This is a 214 with all the x-14 goodies? Is the ballast hard tanks, or bags. I think you will move this fairly quickly.

Beautiful boat! How does the 214 ride in choppy water compared to a 190 or 205?

Much better... although still a little rough as it's still a ski boat

We have 1-2' chop in our lake on weekends and it's not smooth but boat works just fine. The back end is still flat, like 205 and 190 but the wider beam and heavier weight help to settle in a bit more at less than skiing speeds.

Great boat, Charlie, and priced to sell. I turned down much higher offers last summer for my X14. Compared to a 190/ 205, the X14/214 handles big water 10X better. But it is still a ski boat, so other models fare better at this.

Looking at this boat, the only thing that differentiates this 214 from an X14 would be the build paperwork. My X14 build sheet stated it was an X14. But the MSO listed it as a proster 214. If this boat were billed as an X14, I don't think anyone could prove otherwise. I'm not suggesting you do that, just explaining that there is literally no difference between this 214 and an X14, unlike some 214's that may not have the hard tanks, vdig, upgraded stereo, or even a tower.

You should see it on the water. Very cool! I am trying to get some picks on the water today. Started right up on the first crank.

The build paperwork actually says "PS214X14". The dealer pulled it up while working on the trade value. So I listed it the same way. Thanks for the input.

Can you get the x14 of that year without the bullseye graphic? Very nice boat. Maybe saw it at lake Anna over the years. Glws

So did my X14....I think you actually have an X14, not a 214. FWIW

Metal flake shines on the water

Boat looks even better on the water!

I think you are right. It actually has "X-series" on the sides.
