That is a beautiful boat and worth the money you are asking for it. Good luck with the sale.

Thanks for the feedback prostar205, it can get a little lonely in this process. Hoping she finds an awesome new home.

Looks like it’s in great condition and low hours. I think your current price is very reasonable with the latest GSA on board and no trailer. The lack of a trailer obviously reduces the size of your buyer pool. GLWS.

What is the gauge on the lower, right of the helm?

Sky-- that is an aftermarket fuel gauge. Previous owner had issues with the original and installed that one. It works perfectly.

Glad to be getting positive feedback about condition, options, and price. It has been a fantastic boat for us.

Looks like the center trim tab gauge unless you are using a trim tab gauge as a gas gauge.

Have a trim tab gauge too, under the throttle by the cup holder. Here is the location of the aftermarket fuel gauge.

How big of a difference did the GSA make for your surf wave?

In my opinion GSA made a huge improvement in the wave. It's a very basic version of GEN2 for older boats, 2 big trim tabs the transom (center tab is typically already there). When activated, one tab will deploy creating a push that makes the opposite rear corner of the boat go down. In the older days (or still) would create a similar effect using ballast in one corner.

With GSA you weight the rear of the boat evenly and with the push of a button off you go. Of course, ballast still plays a big part of the equation because you have to have weight, no way around it. Each boat will need to play with ballast a certain amount to really find the sweet spot. Push a button again and you switch sides, even on the fly.

If you wakeboard with a lot of weight but struggle to get on plane GSA has an "auto launch" feature. All tabs deploy to get keep the bow down and you get on plane much faster under load (again like GEN2).

Will also vouch for the effectiveness of wake shaper devices that stick to the side of the boat, have seen some fantastic results. GSA just makes it so much easier and is a great upgrade to any older boat if it fits your budget.

Great looking boat! Glad it sold. I have a question about the prop, as I'm looking to upgrade. Did you put on the 805 or was it on when you purchased it? How did it perform over stock? I'm looking for some real world experience before I drop 600 bones. Thanks!

I'd like to second this. I've got a 2003 Maristar 230 and am curious about a prop upgrade.

I played with both the OJ 815 and the OJ 805 on this boat, I ended up liking the 805 a little better for our use. The 805 will give you a noticeably better low end for surf, etc, but still has a nice top end without running RMP’s too high. With the 805 I would cruise around 25mph at 3000 rpm. With the 815 cruise rpms increase by 300-400 rpm. Since we don’t surf all the time I liked the overall performance of the 805.
