“And other than that Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?”
I love the 197. It has everything I want. Direct drive, a factory engineered Mini-tower for board storage and a high tow point so people sitting in back don’t get bothered with the tow rope. Open bow seating with walk-through windshield, sun pad in the back Good (not great) wake for a variety of activities. I always told the wife that when the kids moved out we were trading the 205V for a 197. The 3rd one moved out a month ago.
Sounds like it has been well used. How firm are you on the price?

              I'll say it..

Sweet samolassy, that boat is trashed and that price is nuts! I think $12K would be a deal for you even in this market.

Price is a big stretch even in today’s covid market. Rode hard and put up wet, salt use, 2500+ hours. Agreed on the $10-$12k price point

I was in Myrtle Beach a couple weeks back. One morning at a restaurant I saw a sign that read: "In a world where you can be anything, be kind."

                              Following CP's sound advice...

OP - do you know @ how many hours the block was replaced? If you can get a story around that it will help your case a lot - how many hours are actually on the "rebuilt" motor out of the 2500? The more substantive the history the better. Maybe you can find someone that really wants a project - good thing not to wait until any later in the summer.
