I think I may have responded to a post of yours on the FaceBook Show Ski Equipment page but I was planning on putting my '91 up for sale in a few months. Same great hull and ultimate ski wake of the '94. I’ve owned this boat for 12+ years. It has been well maintained and is a smooth, strong runner in great condition. Perfect Pass with GPS speedo (also have original working Airguides), 1:1 velvet drive, 627 hours, single axle MC trailer, 2 MC covers, 2 Acme CNC props and 1 SS prop (all like new). Includes BI boom and extended pylon. Engine upgraded with GT-40p heads, Edelbrock manifold and Malory YLM ignition 5 years ago. Can store until spring/summer with deposit. $9500 - PM me here with an email if you'd like some photos.1996 FlightCraft Barefooter—Merc 200 EFI

I'd do as Mike says and get a compression and leak down test done if the boat appears to be in good physical shape and well taken care of. If it's the original owner then that's an added plus. The 1500 hours wouldn't concern me if everything checks out okay. That's really only 60 hours per year, although I do understand that if you plan to keep it for a long time and use it often, the hours will pile up.
I've shopped this hull for quite a while now and ones in good shape are very, very hard to find. A few pop up now and then that appear in excellent shape from the pictures and description, but they are always halfway across the country and unless it's a well known forum member selling it, I wouldn't consider a long distance purchase without seeing the boat in person first. What I've typically found in my search is that ones with higher hours have been better maintained than the ones that have sat relatively unused for many years, usually outside in someone's back yard. So I guess I'd rather buy one that was used often but well maintained.
As far as PerfectPass goes, that's an easy install. I believe it's $1300 direct from PP and 2-3 hours tops to get it in. I'd much rather install my own and get the latest and greatest Stargazer version than one of the older versions that you will want to upgrade or not be happy with. Get that boat for $7000, put a brand new PP Stargazer system in for $1300 and you are golden. If it was closer to me I would take a look at it for sure.

Tatronation, I have a 1993 red stars and stripes. Has about 700 hours and in excellent condition. I bought from the original owner. My son is planning to buy a boat and there's no room for two. I will plan to post later this week.
