I'm selling my 2000 Mastercraft Prostar 195 and was wondering what a reasonable price to ask for it. The reason I'm selling the boat is to upgrade to a newer / bigger V-Drive inboard boat. We have enjoyed this boat for the last four seasons and it has been a wonderful boat. Most of the time we spent cruising the lakes and pulling our young teenage boys on tubes and skies.

It has the 330hp LTR Indmar motor with approximately 530 hours. The boat includes the Mastercraft factory single axel trailer. I put new tires on the trailer including a new spare 2 seasons ago. The boat is in overall excellent condition. The gel coat on the hull is immaculate. The vinyl upholstery does has some separation at the stitching on the drivers seat insert, observers seat, back seat pad and the trunk lid covers.

    Here is a list of options that are on the boat;
New Clarion stereo - CD, MP3 and IPod control
    New Clarion stereo remote
    New Clarion speakers (4)
    Perfect Pass cruise control
    Depth finder
    Barefoot International Ragtop Bimini
    Indmar LTR 330hp motor.
    Stainless Steel 4 blade prop
    Boat cover

That's a cool Bimini! Wish I could help on price, my guess would be high teens??? It shouldn't last long around here, a lot of folks love the 195, and not too many around...

Nice boat - this time of year 2000's without towers and other goodies getting mid teens to high teens when all is negotiated - with towers and goodies (showers, can speakers, etc) up to mid 20's.

I have it posted on Craig's list locally for $17K. I priced it at this point because I'm willing to take less and wanted to leave a little room for negotiation. Thanks for the help. I was asking to get a "gut check" to see if I was off in the weeds. Thanks a bunch

I'd say that's a great price. Sold my '01 195 last year for 18500. Lower hours. Smaller motor. Was in almost perfect condition except for the seats. Back seat and sun pad.

I saw your ad while looking through the Syracuse Craigslist. Sure is a nice looking ride! Where did you primarily use the boat? What are you upgrading to?

                Same boat as us!

We're thinking of upgrading too (X2 or X14V)...just don't have a spare 30k laying around to make up the difference...let us know how it goes!

I would like a 21-23 foot V-Drive with the wrap around lounge seating. I would like to stay with a Mastercraft, but the Centurions have been catching my eye. I like how they have a "deeper vee" than most boats at the transom. We mostly used the boat on Keuka Lake. We have been to Seneca Lake and Lamoka / Waneta Lake once. We also have gone in to Lawerenceville PA and been on Cowanesque Lake. My (2) boys are getting older and bigger. We usually spend 4-5 hours at a time on the water and this boat is getting a little small for the whole family.

I hear that...I love the small wakes of my boat, but I'm not going to be the next Nate Smith, so a better layout for more family and friends (and rougher water) takes precendence. Now if I could just find that $30K+ in the couch cushions
