I asked about a Tristar about a month ago and everybody said I should look at 205s if I wanted an open bow for wakeboarding. I went to go look at this one today. The following details were provided
800 hrs
Maintained and winterized each year by Mastercraft
Multi-owner (3-4)
Perfect pass
It has some cracks in the gel coat from dock bumps (3) and a gouge near the bottom from loading on the trailer but not through the gel coat. 2 repair spots where the gel coat wasn't matched perfectly. We took it to a local marina and the owner said they were all superficial and could be fixed for ~$800.
The interior is not rough, but not like new. There's one good seam separation. Vinyl is ~8 yrs old.
The engine ran strong and idled smooth on the test drive. It was pretty clean with just a little rust (the rust on the valve covers is just the metal bolts). It performed well.
The stereo is very factory.
He's looking for $11k. Does this seem like a good price?
Thanks in advance,
Bill
