There's one in Indianapolis for $35,500.

There are some to be had under $40. I usually see x14's listed for $42,000ish.

I don't get it...are 214/x14 really that undesirable? I can't believe a boat like that has been on the market for two years and still available. Good price, low hours, great condition...these are the new 209's and the past 205's. I can't figure out why people aren't scooping them up.

Maybe I'm hoping I'll be able to find one like this when I'm through my personal divorce BS.

People who want to ski get a prostar. People want to do both get a vdrive.

214 / x14's Rock. I have a 214v and I love skiing behind it. And lots of room to cruise.

They are great boats. I have a 2008 214. They are a unique market. For us we don't have a lake house so when we take the boat out we ski first then hang on the lake for the day. This boat is perfect for that. A prostar would be too small for the hanging out part. A v drive would not be ideal for the skiing part. Insert the 214 DD!

That has always been my interpretation.

Honestly, if you aren't skiing the course beyond 15 or 22 off, the X14v is just fine at any speed over 32. I run 150lbs of lead in the nose, 60% center tab, 1/2 tank of gas, and go. I also switched props to create a softer bump than the original. Very pleased.

                      What prop are you running?

                        2008 X14 for sale

I'm selling my X14. About 210 hours, MCX, always stored indoors, used in fresh water. Asking $39,000. There's a photo album in my profile.

I have no connection to this boat... but seems like a pretty decent deal.

Pretty sure my next boat will be a 214 or X14 when they consistently get into the $25-30 range. I realize it might be 5 years from now
