Wet jet

one thing I remember reading was the jet pumps were special to wetjet and they cant be serviced with new pats anymore.

We had them in shows back in 93 and 94. Didn't hold up well at all.

As mentioned, if it has the 701 that engine is highly desirable. The 701 is the best two stroke watercraft engine made to date and there is still plenty of support to keep them going. As far as the wetjet, Sitdowns have come a long way over time. I personally have never ridden any of the mastercrafts so I cannot speak of how they ride but I cannot imagine that they are not going to compare to the skis of today in terms of stability. If you could pick one up for a deal and just wanted to have something to toy around on then I do not think it would be a horrible buy. It just all depends what you are trying to do with it.

Are we talking the jetski? If it is the wetjet craze, it has a yamaha 701 engine with a special intake setup and larger carb that is actually pretty sought after in the standup jetski world. Also should have came stock with a high compression Westcoast head & pipe. I would imagine the actual wetjet is worth about as much as the engine would go for. 701 is the best PWC engine ever build imo.
