My first contribution to TT. I'm no longer a lurker. ...and no, this is not me, but I am the photographer. This is a friend enjoying the morning outside of Discovery Bay, CA.

I'm pursuing my lifelong quest for the perfect, the absolutely driest martini to be found in this or any other world. And I think I may have hit upon the perfect formula :
Yeah, but I'm not that good. I'm learning. I'm trying to get those three guys to teach me. Hey, it is my MasterCraft X7 though. All three of them gave it a big thumbs up as being a great ski boat. I was stoked to hear that.
I'm actually an expert off-road motorcycle racer and haven't had the time to develop my skiing skills because I've been too focused with two wheels. I'm hoping to change all of that. Maybe I can gain some insight on how to get better from reading TT.
Broken Bow Lake is almost deserted during the week. No skiers till the texans show up on weekends and holidays, when I peoplewatch. Don't worry, your glass is safe from me!
Bucky, How is Broken Bow on the weekends? I have heard that it is fantastic. I have a trip planned for the weekend of the 22nd and will be staying at Tomichi
I don't have experience with other lakes to compare it to, but I've never had to wait in line for anything. The lake is pretty big, so you can always find a place with no other boats. Not having any development on the shore means it's hardly ever crowded as long as you avoid Memorial Day, the 4th, Labor Day, and the marina.
Plus, the water temp on the 3rd was 84 and clear for about 25 feet down.
Don't know where tomichi(?) is, but you'll have a great time on the lake.
