Labor Day Weekend

I’m getting ready to head up to Bayfield County, WI for the rest of the week. For those who don’t know where that is, well…this should help.

Long of the short…we’re leaving Wednesday night and staying the rest of the week. It’s a long weekend of footing, skiing, and wakeboarding. Oh, and a few adult beverages in between!

What are ya all doing for the weekend?

Sorry to see that the water is so rough there, but after seeing you foot last year, I am sure you can "tough" it out in those horrible conditions.

I am heading to Beavers Bend reservoir for a long 3 days of wakeboarding and surfing. Gonna put in as many runs in 3 days as this body will allow.

I usually come back with bruised feet and a sore body. good thing the girlfriend is a massage therapist!

My family and I are also heading to Bayfield County, WI, specifically Lake Namakagon (Lakewoods Resort, Cable, WI), this Friday morning. We're usually one of, if not the only, inboard (Not M/C) ski/wake boat on the lake all weekend. For the most part, it's 3500+ acres of water with only a couple dozen boats, mostly fishing & cruising.

Better get out and ski... the lakes in Northern WI will be solid soon!

Going to Priest Lake ID but without boat.... Doing some yearly maintenance on the cabin to get it ready for winter. Installing three sets of exterior stairs around the cabin as well as chopping a lot of wood for the winter.

We will be in Burnett County at the outlaw's cabin on Webb Lake. Probably heading up friday. Apparently there is a "Secret Lake" up around Minong where there is a slalom course and you can ski on glass water all day long until your arms fall off! Should be fun... if it's true! Everyone be safe and have a great weekend!

El Vado Lake in north western New Mexico for three cool days.

I'm having a house full of friends and family(12) over for a 4 day weekend here on Lake James in Indiana. The kegerator is ready to go and the keg(Coors Light) and pony keg(Bass Ale) will be tapped at 8:00am sharp on Friday morning. Last hoorah of the summer. Can't wait to do some boarding.

Looks like I may be battening down the hatches, dropping the motorcycle off at my friend's house (high ground), hooking up the MC to the Tahoe, and heading east!

Yeah I think that picture just about solidifies my weekend plans down here in Mississippi.... Guess Gustav is going to take at least one day of my long weekend away..... Can only hope he stays at sea a little longer now.... But I hope everyone has a good safe weekend !!!!!
