    Finally got our pole barn up. No cement or electric or heat this year but at least the boat is out of the weather.

    Only 98 days to spring!

    Looks good. Weather cover is always a plus. Best on the finish...hopefully material costs will go down (before 2024). Thanks for the photo.

    On a side note, there is a rather comprehensive forum on garages and everything related to them. If it's not there, you don't need it. GarageJournal dot com.

          Without looking at the garage forum, as a contractor in South Carolina, we don't see trusses built that heavy and that close on center. Our building codes are designed for 139 MPH winds and also for seismic events. Those trusses are designed for a very heavy snow load. In other words, we have a saying here, built like a brick s--t house. I would say you are good to go.

            Yes, it's built to handle the central NY winters. God, its awful up there in the winter. LOL
