never been to PK ... hopefully someone familiar with the layout of the lake including marinas, points of interest, etc. will chime in with some recommendations (housing, launch, restaurants, etc.). That's about a 4+ hour haul for us without stops and would be going in completely blind. you list dates June 10 / 11 which is a Friday / Saturday, so I suspect we would need to come up Thursday ...

Bonitaville is a good location and next to the best public ramp on the lake. Just down the road from me.

The preference is to bring my own boat + crew but I don't want to drive 10+ hours to boat alone if I can't find anyone to come with me.

Let me know if you end up making the drive and need or have room for an extra crew member. The wife is starting a new job and she won't have the vacation time for this one.
