Possibly Austin, but after strining out on the house hunt the last couple of weeks we may wait until after the wedding/honeymoon in May and start looking again.

We had an offer in on a house that ended up selling for $100k over ask and had 11 other offers.

Just got back from Austin last week and we stayed downtown, never seen so many homeless people! 6th street looked liked a ghost town.

Downtown's pretty much back to "normal" (pre-ban lift) now that the camping ban has been reinstated, as far as the homeless people/panhandlers go. It was pretty bad the last couple of years with the tent cities and Hoovervilles taking over a lot of public space.

As for 6th, probably didn't help that everyone was holed up at home with hairdryers pointed at their pipes due to winter storm PTSD, lol. Hope you didn't need anything from HEB

Ya its been right before the VID started since I was downtown. Definitely not as many homeless there back then. No HEB I let the vendors wine and dine us. lol
