NXT Ballast Fill/Drain Times

Is there a difference between the 2019 NXT ballast fill/drain times vs a 2020 NXT? I know they redesigned the whole lineup but I can’t find anything anywhere about the fill/drain times.

I believe there is a difference. I know timers were added, but that may be 2020. My 2018 takes a minute, especially with bigger rear bags.

Are your rear bags stock or did you get bigger ones?

I replaced the 400s with 710s from Wakemakers. They can build a cart for you with all the fittings. Makes an absolute huge difference. I also run an additional 500 lbs of lead.

Do the 710 bags have all the same fittings so you just switch them with the 400s? And I’m guessing that makes the fill drain times a lot longer.

Some fittings come with the bags to work with MC quick release valve. It doesn't take a ton more time to fill them, and it's worth it.

If you upgrade to the wakemakers bags I would suggest reinforcing the engine panels, the bags bent the hell out of mine.

Yes. Definitely get the divider panel savers. Easy, quick installation.
