  • Wheel Reccomendations

I have a mastercraft trailer with my 2012 X2. The chrome is flaking on the wheels, so I've decided to get new wheels. I've done some reseach and finding the same offset is proving to be challenging. They are an 18 offset, in a 18 x 8.5.

I really dont want to get into guess and test on fitment here and the only thing that keeps me from going to a standard trailer/tire wheel is it seems the fenders are wider on this setup which may cause them to look strange in the wheel wells and I also have newer tires that do not need to be replaced at this time.

I know there used to be a wheel guy on the forum when I got the boat in 2017 but can't seem to find that information again.

    Thanks.

Why not get your existing wheels stripped and either re-chrome or powder coated?

Had this idea too. The cost is about half of new wheels and the concern is the center plastic caps are all messed up too. By the time i overpaid for just the caps and refinish i was getting closer and closer.

After spending a lot of time yesterday working some old brosures I had and talking to the Action Water Sports Parts Department (who felt my pain as they had to help another customer though similar for a spare), I found that most of the mastercraft wheels were actually 18x9, 18 offset and that opened up other options. I also found Vision wheel had a Trailer/HD section and once I went to a 9 inch wide wheel, I found 2-3 replacement options. So I ordered them up.
