They extend your wakeboard clamps from standard to wide. Normally used for slalom skis

Yep, what snork said. I think the extensions will fit waterskis, wakeboards and surfboards. There was a member on here with a 2007 X2 I believe, he had them on both racks. Looked sharp! I have a one set off of Sodar's 2006 197. I thought they would fit my 05 X2, but I was wrong. PM me if interested.

Remove the clamps form the swivel plate and transfer them onto the arm extensions. Bolt the arm extensions to the swivel plate. I'll see if I can find some pics.

I wounder why the 06 197 extension would not fit your X2.
