I know... I Know! It is the code name given to the Caddy Northstar engine that Indmar marinized for MasterCraft a few years ago. The designation DD7 does have a significance to those that were involved in the project. I could tell you but then the secret would be out. Actually Jeff a friend of mine here in town works for Cummins (marine side) and they did do some testing putting a diesel in a MC. They just couldn't get the performance versuses cost at an acceptable level so gave up on it. They put a big Cummins diesel in a pink PS 190.
