Travel Distance for Good Deal

How far have you gone for a good to great deal on your boat?

I have a friend who shipped one from Florida to Arkansas, and another who drove to east Tennessee to get one.

What about you?

BTW - I am willing to travel some if any dealers want to PM me with a great deal. I would love to trade into a gently used (or left over new) 2006 or 2007 or 2008 X-2.

I live in South Alabama, and have a buyer coming from Canada to buy my boat.

I drove about 450 miles one-way to get my last 2 boats. With this last buy I considered over 1,500 miles one-way. There just wasn't much around here besides freaking Bu's.

Flew there, test drove it, signed the papers, loaded it up on the truck, flew home and unloaded it from the truck.

I don't know. I think the jury is out on this one. I mean, I can fly out and look at a boat, sign my name, watch it loaded on a truck, and retreive it when someone else brings it to me back home. Just sayin'.

I guess if this thread was titled a little different, this wouldn't count but technically you are in the lead at this point.......but I don't like it. It's still a sweet boat.
