1999 Mastercraft Prostar 205 open bow
For sale is a well maintained Mastercraft Prostar with approximately 570 fresh water only well maintained hours. The powerful 5.7 liter v8 330 hp EFI engine will pull anyone out of the water with ease. It has an excellent service history throughout its entire lifetime and nothing has been overlooked. 50 hour oil/filter changes and 100 hour impeller changes. Two new impellers come with the boat, a package of five was bought a few years back. The boat has a grand total of 10 hours on it this summer and it has a new oil change, new battery, and new impeller change. The boat runs as good as our new Mastercraft and you will not be disappointed. It is now out of the water at the marina but has been stored in a nice boathouse its entire lifetime. It was waxed three weeks ago and the gelcoat shines.
I meticulously went over the boat and tried to note every little thing that could be nitpicked at. There are a few nicks, some minor seat cracks and three of the front dash instruments are missing the little black o-rings that go around them. Minor seat cracks reside on the rear back seat and in the driver’s seat. They are all very small and hardly noticeable. One of the speedometers is not working but the other works fine. I will blow out the little rubber tube in the back for that speedometer; this has always done the trick. All other gauges work. Front and gauge lights all work but the back light needs to be replaced. A hinge underneath the back sun seat has a crack in it but it works fine as is. The bilge pump and radio both work great.
The trailer was stored outside because the boat was in the boathouse and this shows. All the lights are working except for one or two of the small ones along the bottom. The tires are fine and have plenty of tread left on them because it was barely used. I replaced the crank on the front with a new one.
I bought a brand new cover for the new owner. It will also come with a skylon sky / wakeboard tower and I will throw in the dehumidifier. The dehumidifier has been hooked up to a timer in the boathouse.
I have tried to describe everything appropriately but apologize in advance for missing anything. This is allot of boat for the money. I am asking $13,000, which is a great price and firm.
It is located in Bedford, VA on Smith Mountain Lake.
