Not experienced it under the lounge seat. Is the water temp, hot or lake temp? Rudder port, drive shaft seal would be a couple of culprits if lake temp. If water is hot, check hoses/exhaust.

Could use some knowledge. We are getting water in the bilge and also under the lounge seat. Not sure where it is coming from. Anyone experienced the same thing?

Yea, that Texas heat is a b**** The previous owner was on either their 3rd or 4th factory cover. I only know that because the tent/ poles/ cover bag for the other 2 or 3 were with the boat when I bought it. Vinyl was noticeably more dry/ hard than my other X14's. (granted the boat was older, too). It will be worth doing a full set of skins and replicating the 40th graphics.

Agreed on the TX part, no matter how much Babe’s seat soap, and 303 I use those back seats can’t be fixed, and have only cracked more. It’s a shame because going to be next to impossible to match the vinyl, so a full reupholster will be in the future cards most likely. At that time, hopefully MC will share the 40th badge embroidery file...

My mistake sir. Apparently the MCX is different than my old 205 and my new LY6 and routes as you say. In this picture it’s the steel cylinder with the two hoses after the impeller. Pull the hose from the bottom.

Yeah, not sure how the LY6 works in DoubleD's ride. On the MCX, the trans cooler is mounted on the front port side corner of the motor. It is the first thing after the raw water pump. It is a cylinder shaped piece that will have water hose in/out on each end with 2 transmission hoses connected to it. There is a screen on the water input end, I've never checked mine, but it is probably a good idea.

Also be friends with your tech. Take the crew breakfast biscuits when you get the 1 hour turn around on a mid season oil change. They will show you everything you need to do out on the water. As bad as some of the stories on here are, these guys care about their trade, they are bad *** mechanics, and sometimes just need a simple thank you. Sorry for the rant.
