It is in the top of the tank ... just off center on one of the wings ... mine is on the passenger side of the tank but viewable with the Center cushion out ... it has a wire harness to it ...Ski in snow, ski in water, and always have fun!

E = 20 gallons left the tank for mine.
Don't recall the forum member but someone put mark lines and a light on their tank so they could visually check the amount in the tank.
If you decide to replace the sender and it works please let us all know as I'm annoyed at the inaccuracy.... but do appreciate the precision

It really was simple to replace though. I would go nuts visually inspecting all the time.boats rock, but don't rock the boat

While I haven't pulled mine apart it seems as if it's too short as it's consistent in its empty point- which a 1/2 full tank of gas!
Generally I just fill it full before each outing but do like, and expect, things to work as they are supposed to!

I have replaced mine. Had a really hard time finding the part and I ended up getting a bigger one and cutting it down so it reads on the high side but st lease it works! Mine is a 2008 so it's volts and not ohms. I want to say it should be 6 inch but I bought a 7 inch and cut it.
