Wouldn't hurt to get another picture. I'd like to keep the wiring separate from the interior lighting so that I can turn either on independently. I'd love to find the factory wiring, but can/will run some new wires if necessary. I will probably be running a new stereo remote to the back this winter, so I can just pull new power wires at the same time.

The list of winter projects is getting long!!!

The courtesy light switch is where mine came new from the dealer. Up does just interior lights, down does underwater and interior (IIRC). I've honestly not ever thought it could be done a different way until now!

My 2014 PS214 does NOT have a rear pylon slot; however my previous boat--2010 x14v did.

I wish my current boat had it--great tube anchor point.

                    • Neither my 2012 or 2014 had it. When I picked up the new 2014, I pointed out to MC that they still listed the second pylon as standard equipment on the MC website... they gave me a $250 credit.

On another topic , is anyone else concerned about drainage under the port rear seat? The starboard rear seat is removable, and occasionally after rain there is water there pooling on the fibreglass frame underneath it. The port seat also must have water but they're is no way to dry it out.

                      • Rhobb88... Curious if you still have your 2010 X14V. Really sharp boat and was wondering if you would be interested in parting with her?

                          • My wife would be very unhappy if I let her go , we have no regrets on the purchase 3 years ago , and all the upgrades that have been put on .

Does anyone know if the mini-ski pylon for rear attachment that appears to have been on some of the early x14V models was ever available on the DD x14 models?

If you have a boat full of people, the middle pylon on a DD, would seem to make the rear seats un-useable, so where do you all fasten the rope to if people want to ski? I know you can use the tower, but kind of silly to ski off that, so I'm guessing the swim platform handle since it has the hook/eye? Although I thought I read on here somewhere in a thread, that it really isn't designed for that? Curious more than anything. Thanks in advance!

                              • Not silly to ski off of the tower. The only thing we do not pull from the tower is when we short-line slalom. Everything else is off of the tower. Everything is better pulled from the tower.

Note: We do not tube. Never will own one. You either ski, foot, board, or surf. Not even children can tube.
