Our oldest second time surfing, first time tossing the rope. I don't know who was more shocked that he was doing it. I had to put on my drill sergeant voice to get him to toss it, but he did.

I’ve been surfing with my son since he we was 2. He’s 3 now and we surf together everytime we are out. I would not trade those surf sessions for anything in the world. Absolute best surfing I will ever do in my life.

Same here. My 5yr old surfed with me once 2 years ago, but hasn’t wanted to since. Then earlier this summer my buddy’s son wanted to surf with me, and once my son saw that go down, he all of a sudden wanted to again, and now wants to surf with me every time we go out. I don’t even surf by myself anymore. It’s either a wakeboard set or a surf with one of my boys (also have a 3yr old). Priceless. I may never surf by myself again until they’re too big to surf with dad, but that’s fine by me. I’m gonna soak it up while I can!
