Just in case you guys want to know, there IS a solution for the piggy backing on the 2012 Ballast system which involves reprogramming the Master Lenco module, talk to your dealer about it!

@ Stefan - thanks for the update. Can you let us know how you got this info?
I actually talked with KahunaCraft who heard from MC representatives at a boat show about it, that made me talk to my dealer about it who then got the info from MC...

Edit, more specific...The example in the document that explains to the dealer how to configure the timers is a 2012 X2. For those wondering if this will work without the touch screen for 2012 models, it should.

Yes it probably should work for all 2012 X-Models, since all of them have Ballast Tanks and thus the Master Lenco module (Slave Module is only installed with Surftabs and/or P'nP). The non BIG Models might just not be able to switch the sacs in and out since I think you can't adjust different ballast amounts in the GDIG as oposed to the BIG profiles...

Last year while in the water my 2012 X-25 put my surf tabs full down... couldn't get them to come up for any reason. Limped it back to dock and after about 2 hours it just decided to work normal again. but only after ruining the rest of my day. So frustrated...

Sounds like the autolaunch feature which you might have activated by using one of the original profiles where it might be included...

edit: autolaunch
Yeah definately something with autolaunch however i did everything i could to get them to come back up. restarting boat, cycling power, breakers... all kinds of stuff... still not sure how or why they went back up but would have made tailoring it difficult. The best the dealership could come up with is after a certain amount of time with the battery on and boat off the tabs should auto come up in preparation for tailoring... but no solid answer or cause.
