A new X25 Medallion touch screen 2012 big display is 4K, is it? how to find it with a low coast?

The screen is (user) updateble through USB, check what Version software you got in the system or settings menu and let me know.
If you are out of luck the screen will need replacement (3k$ iirc), the touch part of the screen is a film bonded to the front and that film sometimes delaminates.

I have an issue with my cruise control on my 2012 X15 coming on by itself without it being set. My dealer is saying they will need to take the screen out and ship it to Mastercraft to be updated? Has anyone heard of this? I thought the dealers had equipment to update the screen software?

good luck, was told the manufacture of the screens were way butt hurt that MC didn't stick with them and they have totally washed their hands of these screen, the 2012 I owned never worked like it was supposed to and I sold it for a big time lose.

I tried to contacted Medallion to see if I could send a screen in to be repaired, they wouldn’t even return my calls.

Mastercraft never issued a recall, but if you get with your dealer they should be well aware of the problem and may be able to help you. Now that the 2012 boats are out of warranty, it could be a more costly repair than before though. I swapped three screens before mine was stable. Good luck.

I have a 2012 X25, and ever had problems with my touch screen, but now it's impossible use this, the touch screen of my Big display doesn't work, have a recall about this?

Is this still the most recent software version available (the post is about 2 years old)? I am looking at a 2012 x15 and want to make sure it has the most recent software.

How do you find the software version? I went through all the menus couldn't find it. One screen said it wasn't available

I have had mine freeze on me and put random speeds on my cruise. I have learned how to do multiple workarounds. Also to turn off the key when all else fails. And I have the latest software-54. 2012 X-35 6.0L

Did you sort out the issue of your screen freezing? Mine does it when I turn on my Nav lights. How did you fix it?

Once I got rid of Perfect Pass and installed Zero Off, mine works fine. MC paid for the conversion.

My screen is delaminting in the corners from the LCD screen. I have tried with my local Mastercraft dealer and medallion on a warranty replacement width no luck. The screen isn't freezing or anything but would be nice to get it replaced. I know that the boat is 5 years old but any tips on getting medallion to replace it?

Honestly, sorry to say but you don't really have any hope of having Medallion replace the screen as they have been quite unresponsive to the many many recorded problems their systems have. Same for the poor Malibu owners of Medallion systems as they have made numerous postings on forums of their screens delaminting and eventually not responding to touch inputs with little to no help from Medallion. It's so bad MasterCraft dropped Medallion after only one year and they would like to forget all about the 2012 model year boats.

Quite a shame as I passed on a couple beautiful low hr 2012 MC boats last yr only because of the Medallion computer and it's know problems as I didn't want the headache nor the resale value hit that comes with it.

MC dropped medallion so getting anything out of them is not likely.

If its the same boat as in your profile (08' 45) it would actually be 8-9 years old now that the 2017's are out, meaning your chances of getting a warranty replacement are very slim. Thats why its a BOAT though, Bring Out Another Thousand.
